Alzheimers & Dementia Support Group

Run in conjunction with a local and well respected Healthcare provider. The purpose of the group is to provide support to the carers and loved ones of those who are caring for someone with Dementia or Alzheimer’s.

We facilitate a carers support group enabling the carers to unburden themselves with people who truly understand the journey they are on, as well as activities for the dementia / alzheimers sufferers.

In addition, we also help the carers to access support from various government departments as well as raising funds to facilitate respite care for the carers.

Our ethos is simple: To create a supportive and nurturing environment which is safe and proactive in ensuring you never feel alone on your dementia journey.

We meet the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month in Calahonda at Club Naranja,Calle Malaga, 11am to 1pm.

We have a wonderful team of volunteers on hand at each meeting including Nurses, a Therapist, and Lawyers as well as those who provide activities suitable for all stages of dementia.
